QA Engineer with Programming Skills Middle (Python)

The DWH team is responsible for providing data pipelines from all of the company’s data sources (as internal/external systems), data marts for reporting and analysis and toolchains around the data to make work with data accessible.
DWH team:
Challenges that await you:
- Requirements analysis, creation of test scenarios, preparation of test data
- Verify data accuracy, integrity, and completeness by comparing source data against target data in the Data Warehouse
- Development and maintenance of test documentation
- Acceptance and regression testing (both automated and manual)
- Writing and maintaining automated tests in Python
- Identifying, localizing, and reporting defects using a bug-tracking system
- Communicating with the team during development and participating in releases
- Participate in the identification and implementation of quality improvement initiatives for Data Warehouse testing processes
- Contribute to the overall testing strategy and help implement industry best practices
What makes you a great fit:
- Experience in developing and maintaining test documentation
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests in Python
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
- Experience with message queues (Kafka)
- Experience in developing and maintaining a test framework
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
Your bonus skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of software design patterns
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools, DWH, Snowflake, Kubernetes, DBT, ELementary Data, DQC
- Familiarity with frameworks such as allure-pytest, pytest (Python)
- Load testing experience
- Work experience in the banking sphere
