This is a leadership role designed for an experienced analyst who will play a key part in scaling our unsecured personal loan product into a fully autonomous business line. With a proven business case and positive unit economics of the product already established, you will leverage advanced analytical methods, collaborate cross-functionally, and continuously refine risk and lending strategies.
Personal Loan Risk:
Challenges that await you:
- Continuously refine credit policies, approval criteria, and risk segmentation to maximize sustainable growth
- Maintain a balanced approach to credit risk and profitability, optimizing the trade-off between approval rates, default levels, and overall return on the lending portfolio
- Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, antifraud specialists, and collections teams to enhance product performance and scale operations
- Align risk strategies with product roadmaps, incorporating feedback from various teams to ensure seamless and responsible product evolution.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, develop statistical models, and track key risk metrics to identify improvement areas
- Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to measure the impact of changes in credit strategy and lending policies, using evidence-based insights to drive decisions
- Describe changes in risk strategy on the business language to the IT team and control implementation
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports, ensuring transparency and timely insights into portfolio performance
- Work closely with DWH teams to guarantee data consistency, reliability, and accessibility, enabling more informed decision-making and strategic planning
What makes you a great fit:
- B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
- Significant experience (3+ years) in credit risk analytics within financial services or fintech, particularly in unsecured lending products
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with hands-on experience in SQL, statistical programming (e.g., Python, R), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to balance data-driven insights with commercial considerations, ensuring that risk strategies align with broader business goals
- Proven success working in cross-functional, agile environments. Excellent communication skills to translate complex analysis into actionable strategies and influence stakeholders
